three in three We are sure you are enjoying the benefits of the first phase of our Community Hall development project, which was completed late in 2003 and dedicated in February 2004. That work included the construction of new toilets and baby-changing facilities, a new west porch and processional passage and the beginnings of a new car parking area. We invested £375,000 in the development, and a large proportion of the funds were raised by our local community.

We are now ready to move on to the next phase of our long-term development, and once again we need your help to raise enough money to finish the planned works. This phase will provide urgently needed extra accommodation to meet the needs of the church and of the wider local community. More specifically, we will be creating a series of meeting rooms and an outdoor decking and amphitheatre area.
To achieve this, the Church Council is launching the three in three campaign. Our aim is very simple — we need to raise £300,000 in 3 years.

As we launch this new appeal for funding, we are acutely aware of the potential danger of meeting 'charity fatigue', but we feel it is important to continue with the development of Kirk Braddan Community Hall to help it fulfil its role within the growing wider Parish community. We do hope that you will feel able to help us achieve our new fund raising target by Harvest 2010 — 10.10.10.

  1. Kirk Braddan is at the heart of an area of rapid and significant growth. It is important that the church hall facilities are developed to help the church meet the challenges of the 21st Century.
  2. The community which Kirk Braddan serves is close to 10,000 people. The children of the community and their parents,
    teenagers and young adults as well as the more senior
    members will all benefit from the expanded hall building
    and improvements.
  3. The challenge of raising £300,000 in three years is significant, but with your help, hopefully it can be achieved with the new facilities being completed for your use by October 2010

  1. It is important to invest in the future of the church and its facilities to ensure that our young people will grow with the church and continue its development in the future.
  2. We need your help to reach the £300,000 target for the next phase of the hall development programme. This is essential to provide modern facilities to meet the demands of current and future members of the church and of the community it serves.
  3. To finish the church hall in 2010 would be a fitting end to my time here at Kirk Braddan which I have enjoyed immensely. It would be wonderful to leave these facilities for the future development of the church community.

  1. Through my work with the KB Club and the KB Krew (our Sunday school and youth group), I have no doubt about the importance of the role the church has in supporting parents with the overall development of children and young people.
  2. The present church hall has served its purpose well for almost 100 years, but it now definitely needs more modernisation and expansion to provide much needed facilities for the changing needs of the community.
  3. Please help us in anyway you can to meet this challenge and enable the church to continue to fulfil its valued work within our community.

  2. By enthusiastically attending as many of the myriad of fund supporting events that are held throughout the year – you being there will make a huge difference!
  3. Help us to raise the funds we need by using your skills! You could bake cakes to sell, have a garage sale or organise an event. We have a lot of talented members of the church so make sure that you don't hide your light under a bushel, any fundraising ideas and initiatives will be much appreciated
